Kyle Caskey

Actor

Kyle moved to Key West from Chicago nine years ago and is thrilled to perform in his ninth season at the Waterfront Playhouse as in August: Osage County as Little Charles. In last season’s hit, Lend Me A Tenor, he played the Bellhop. In previous seasons he appeared as Juror # 2 in Twelve Angry Men, as Merlin Magenta in his original children’s production of The Red Head Dilemma, Sheldon Marcus in The Best Man, Mr. McQueen in Urinetown, Mr. Bardolph in Lettice & Lovage, Mr. Dalton in Equus and Master Jacques in The Miser. He most recently appeared at the Red Barn Theatre in Becky’s New Car as Steve Singletary. Other shows at the Barn include 2009’s Short Attention Span Theatre Incorruptible, Frozen and The Garbage People, which he wrote & directed. Prior to Key West, Kyle toured with his own Chicago-based theatre troupe,  Kaleidoscope Children’s Theatre Company, performed repertory at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe & did summer stock at The Little Theatre on-the-Square.  He holds a B.F.A. in theatre arts from Chicago’s Columbia College.
