Broadway Star, Terri White in "Terri In Paradise"
The Waterfront Playhouse proudly presents Broadway Star, Terri White in Terri In Paradise, a one night only concert on Friday, April 23 at 8:30 pm. Pat West and Chip Allen of the Keys Piano Bar are generously sponsoring the concert. The post performance party will be held at the Keys on Duval and is being sponsored by Billy Cartledge and Cherry Schnepf.
The Waterfront is thrilled that Ms. White will be taking a short break from her busy schedule to appear on the Waterfront stage. Immediately after the concert, she will be flying back to NYC to join the cast of the Broadway production of Chicago, where she will star as Matron Mama Morton.
Terri recently starred in the Broadway production of Finian's Rainbow, where she garnered rave reviews for her performance and her powerhouse rendition of “Necessity.” During the run of the show, she received glowing profiles in a range of media, from The New York Times to CBS Sunday Morning to People Magazine. Terri's other Broadway appearances have been star-turns in Barnum, Ain't Misbehavin', Bubbling Brown Sugar, Stepping Out At Radio City (with Liza Minelli) and many others. She's also appeared in such Off-Broadway shows as Nunsense and the legendary production of The Club (one of Tommy Tune's first directorial endeavors), as well as many regional and stock appearances.
Terri has wowed audiences all over the world with her incredible voice. She embodies each song with great purity and integrity, making each song a statement of her resiliency and strength. Her concert will be a range of material that reflects her impressive show resume, as well as music that is meaningful to her.
Before appearing in Finian's Rainbow, Terri had relocated to Key West and was a nightly star at The Keys – A Key West Piano Bar. Each night she would thrill audiences with her spontaneous mini-concerts. The Waterfront is very pleased to welcome Terri back to Key West with this concert, along with her partner, Donna Barnett.
