Kate Miano
Member of the Board
Kate Miano has lived in Key West since 1996, a transplant of St. Louis, state of Misery. She has served on the Boards of Habitat for Humanity of Key West and the Florida Keys, The Key West Botanical Garden, The Children’s Shelter of the Florida Keys, and is a graduate of Leadership Monroe County Class VIII. In addition to serving on the Board of The Waterfront Playhouse, she is currently on the Board of AIDS Help and The Lodging Association of the Florida Keys.
Kate is a former Fantasy Fest Queen and the owner of The Gardens Hotel. She is beginning her second year on the Board of “The Best Professional Theatre in Florida.” Her proudest achievement is her daughter Jessica who is appearing in two of this season’s shows.
