Michael Fauss has been Musical Director and Conductor for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Full Monty, Urinetown, Reefer Madness, Naked Boys Singing! and played for The Musical of Musicals at the Waterfront. He’s played concerts for Vicki Roush and Gordon Ross (the Waterfront) and Randy Thompson (the Tropic). In his home town of Atlanta, he’s been the Musical Director and Conductor for many musicals at the Alliance Theatre, including Jacques Brel, Candide, Peter Pan, Chess, A Little Night Music, Cotton Patch Gospel, Falsettos (which he reprised at the Virginia Stage Theatre in Norfolk), Forever Plaid (also produced by Georgia Ensemble Theatre), A Christmas Carol, Once On This Island and An American Song, the story of Woodie Guthrie. In the last few years he has musically directed four new musicals in London, England, plus conducted a six month European tour of Die Schone und das Biest. Tours in the U.S. include Cathy Rigby’s Peter Pan and Heartstrings. On Broadway, he was the assistant M.D. for Quilters. He also composes music, including a production of the Three Little Pigs, and his three act opera of Pinocchio.
