Opening October 18 and Playing for 10 performances only will be a revival of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show!
This wacky tacky musical comedy has played to standing room only houses for two seasons at the Waterfront. The cast features: Christopher Peterson as Frank n Furter, Jack D’Emilio and Jillian Todd as Brad and Janet, Talitha Jones, Ray West and Carolyn Cooper will play Magenta, Riff Raff and Columbia, Riley Vogel will play Rocky, Mathias Maloff, Eddie; John McDonald Dr. Scott and John Swann as the Narrator.
Then opening November 29 for a 3 week run will be the deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical that is currently devouring the hearts of theatre goers in New York, Little Shop of Horrors. The cast features Damaria Quick, Mariah Woessner and Fritzie Estimond as the urchins, Mathias Maloff as Mushnik, Talitha Jones as Audrey, Jordan Thomas Burnet as Seymore, Bruce Moore as Orin, Jack D’Emilio as the derelict and Richard Quint as the voiuce of Audrey II.
January 4, 5, 6 will see a return of Joe Posa and his one man show Joan Rivers and then filled with every memorable moment from the film and a downpour of unforgettable songs, including ‘You are My Lucky Star’, ‘Fit as a Fiddle’, and ‘Make Em Laugh’, the “Greatest Movie Musical of All Time” will open at the Waterfront Playhouse on January 24, Singin’ in the Rain. It will feature Jordan Thomas Burnett, Jillian Todd and Riley Vogel and an ensemble of 18!
A snowdrift stops a luxurious train in its tracks… an American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, and the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot, David Black, to identify the murderer –this is Ken Ludwig’s new adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. Playing March 13 through April 6.
Also playing in March will be our annual celebration of Tennessee Williams – a staged reading of Ten Blocks on the Camino Real on March 17 and the 5th installment of Trunk Material on March 31.
The Neil Simons Pulitzer and Tony Award winning Lost in Yonkers will play April 24 through May 11.

The Award winning Waterfront Playhouse on Mallory Square, is please to announce their On The Edge series. "With the theatre located On The Edge of the water as well as most productions chosen and designed to be performed On The Edge of the stage, it seemed like a winning title", said Managing Artistic Director Tom Thayer. Although a few productions, such as the upcoming musical The Rocky Horror Show will have more production value, the majority of productions, such as Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, The Informer, Bash, and Trunk Material 2 are created and designed to be performed simply.
Another difference in On The Edge productions is the time.
