Enchanted April

Tony Award Nominee – Best Play

Four English women try to break free from their rain-drenched, oppressive lives in 1920s London by renting a medieval castle in Italy for the month of April. There, among the wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom again—rediscovering themselves in ways that they could never have expected.

This charming, romantic, magical comedy is based on the 1920s novel by Elizabeth von Arnim and was a hit movie starring Miranda Richardson, Joan Plowright and Alfred Molina.

“As good as they come…escape has seldom seemed so sweet. A magical triumph.” (Los Angeles Times)
