The Award Winning Waterfront Playhouse announces the inaugural season of Waterfront Youth Theatre.
This program, taught by Managing Artistic Director Tom Thayer and choreographer Penny Leto, is a
unique three week musical theatre workshop which will culminate in 3 performances of the Andrew
Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Ages 7 yrs and up may participate by registering at 3pm Monday July 9. Classes will be Monday through
Friday from 3pm until 6pm. The cost of the workshop is $150 per week. For more information call the Waterfront Playhouse at 305-294-5015.
Performances for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be at 7pm July 27 and at 2pm and 7pm July 28. Tickets will go on sale July 1 at the Waterfront Playhouse.

The Award winning Waterfront Playhouse on Mallory Square, is please to announce their On The Edge series. "With the theatre located On The Edge of the water as well as most productions chosen and designed to be performed On The Edge of the stage, it seemed like a winning title", said Managing Artistic Director Tom Thayer. Although a few productions, such as the upcoming musical The Rocky Horror Show will have more production value, the majority of productions, such as Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, The Informer, Bash, and Trunk Material 2 are created and designed to be performed simply.
Another difference in On The Edge productions is the time.
