Dave Bootle

Dave Bootle, originally from Toronto, Canada, arrived in Key West from Bermuda in 2010. He made his Waterfront Playhouse debut playing the role of Franz Liebkind in Mel Brooks’ hit musical, The Producers. Other roles in Key West include, Norm in Meteor Shower, Ever Montgomery in Dancing Lessons, Russ and Dan in Clybourne Park, M in Cock and James Dodd in Time Stands Still. Dave also directed the short play, One More Time! by Mark Harvey Levine and has done Stage Fight Choreography for many productions including, Red Speedo, Prime Time, Leading Ladies, and Deathtrap. As a self-taught piano player/vocalist and a former movie stunt man, the stage is where Dave feels most at home.
