Peter Haig

Actor

Peter Haig has performed in well over 100 productions on mainland Florida since 1980 but welcomes the chance to return to Key West where he has performed in Glengarry Glen Ross and Tusdays with Morrie at the Waterfront. He’s on a lucky streak of three Pulitzer Prize winning plays in a row! The Gin Game, Glengarry Glen Ross and next August: Osage County. Some of the other excellent plays he’s done in recent years are: The Seafarer, The Price, Noises Off, On Golden Pond, That Championship Season, A Moon for the Misbegotten and Lend Me a Tenor. Before moving to Florida, Peter spent a decade in NYC, eventually working under the direction of George C. Scott and Joe Papp, then spent the next decade in Wilmington, NC as director of their community theater, the Thadiau Association and founder of the Willis Richardson Players, an African-American theater group.
